Ocean Point secures further two tenants
Investors in People Scotland and Environmental Consultancy take space in flagship Edinburgh office

AWG Property has completed deals to bring two further tenants to its flagship Ocean Point development in Edinburgh.

Environmental consultancy RPS Group has leased 6200 sq ft of space at £18 per sq ft while Investors in People has taken 2900 sq ft also at £18 per sq ft.

Both companies have signed a ten year lease with the option for a break at five years.

RPS Group is an international consultancy providing advice on the development of natural resources, land and property, the management of the environment and the health and safety of people. RPS moved into its new offices in Ocean Point earlier this month.

Investors in People Scotland helps Scottish organisations of all sizes improve performance and achieve tangible business results through their employees. The organisation moved from its existing offices at Orchard Brae House in Edinburgh.

These two deals leave just two floors remaining at Ocean Point with suites ranging from 800 sq ft to 15,600 sq ft in size.

Dtz, Montagu Evans and CBRE are all joint lettings agents at Ocean Point 1. Eric Young and Co acted on behalf of RPS while Investors in People represented themselves.

The remainder of the space is available at rates almost 30% cheaper than similar buildings in the city centre, with flexible floorplates and lease terms available to prospective tenants.

Current floorplates extend to approximately 7,800 sq ft, allowing occupiers to grow within the building, with the ability for suites to be increased in size to suit tenants’ requirements.
